Improve the lives of homeowners everywhere.
Weāre building modern community management software that allows property managers and HOA boards to better serve their associations. We believe our platform can help HOAs and their members save more money, save more time, increase the value of their property, and better engage with their community.
Bias towards action:
Weāre an early stage startup and donāt have the opportunity to rest on our laurels. Building core workflow software for a complex space, we have a lot to build to get to an MVP and even more to create a truly remarkable product. We need to move fast and trust in each other to make independent decisions to bring our product to market and beyond.
Two steps ahead:
As a nascent startup we have to build with speed, but without a clear vision of where we want to go, weāll make poor decisions that will hamper our execution in the future. Itās important that team members are thinking two steps ahead to where we want to be in the medium-term so we make choices that set ourselves up for success.
Win-win:
We believe weāll see the greatest success when our company ambitions are aligned with that of our customer. In practice this means that we make strategic decisions that benefit both our customer as well as our business. We see this in our pricing: we charge a fair price so our customers feel the value far outweighs the cost, but is enough that our business can continue to deliver exceptional service and fund development on a quickly improving product.
Where we work:
Ethan and Terry live and work in the Bay Area (the East Bay to be more precise) but we support a remote-first culture. We expect team members to live wherever they are happiest and most productive. We do not have an office nor any immediate plans for one.
How we work:
We maintain core working hours of 10am - 4pm PST where weāre all available and online but respectful of different timezones within reason.
Focus time:
We believe people are most productive when they have uninterrupted focus time and so we try to optimize for long focus blocks. We have āno-meetingā Wednesdays and when we do have meetings we make sure thereās a clear agenda.
Team get togethers:
Despite our expectation of a remote-first culture, we still believe in the value of seeing each other in person and we anticipate getting the team together a few times a year.
